Photo restoration cost: what you pay and what is included
Photo restoration cost is usually the first thing people want to know, and often the hardest thing to get a straight answer on. So here is ours: it starts from $38 per photo, and you see your full total before you pay.
What follows is the price, line by line: what it is, what is already in it, what is optional, and how to add it up for your own photo.
How much does photo restoration cost with us?
You choose your artist, and that choice sets the price. An Experienced Artist is $38 per photo. A Head Artist is $58 per photo, and that is the one we recommend at checkout. Those are the two choices. Our photo restoration prices are per photo, so you pay for each photo you send.
Either one is a skilled restoration artist who will restore your photo with care. Both come with unlimited free revisions and our 100% money-back guarantee.
There is no quote to wait for. You do not have to send your photo first and hope the answer is a number you can live with. The price is shown as you order, and the exact total is on screen before you pay.
Why a badly damaged photo does not cost more
Many services charge based on how damaged your photo is. The worse the photo, the more they charge. That is why people worry about the cost to restore an old photo that has been through a lot.
We do it differently. The price does not depend on how damaged your photo is. A snapshot that has faded a little and a photo with tears, stains, water damage or missing pieces cost the same with the same artist. So do creases, scratches, mold and fire damage. Nobody looks at your photo and then raises the price. And the price is the same whether your photo is fifty years old or a hundred.
You may also wonder whether a photo in bad shape can be saved at all. We can fix nearly anything. Even missing pieces can be rebuilt by an experienced artist, with skill and care. You see the result before anything is final, and if we can't get it right, you get your money back.
What is included in the price
The price for either artist covers the whole job. Your photo is carefully restored with skill and attention to detail.
We email you when your photo is ready, and you see it before anything is final. If something is not right, you tell us and we work on it again. Revisions are free and unlimited, so you can ask as many times as you need. When you are pleased with it, the restored photo is yours to save, share and print.
Delivery by email is included too. You choose the speed at checkout, and most orders are ready in 2 to 5 business days. And every order comes with our 100% money-back guarantee. No hassle. No questions asked.
The optional extras, and what they add
There are three optional extras you can add when you order. Each one is your choice.
The first is colorization, for black-and-white and sepia photos. It adds $19 per photo. The second is printed copies, from $10 each, in sizes from 4x6 to 16x20 inches. We ship them to you, and nothing is printed until you have approved the restoration. The third is faster delivery. If you are in a rush, we offer a 24-hour option for an extra charge.
You can leave all three out and pay only the restoration price.
How to work out your own total
Start with the number of photos and the artist you want. One photo with nothing added is $38 with an Experienced Artist, or $58 with a Head Artist.
Say you have an old black-and-white photo of your parents and you would like it in color. That is $38 for the restoration plus $19 for the colorization. If you want a printed copy to frame, add the print, from $10.
If you have several photos, each one is priced the same way, per photo. There is a discount when you restore three or more photos, and it is taken off at checkout. Whatever you choose, the full total is on screen before you pay.
Not sure your photo is worth the cost?
That is a fair thing to wonder, and you do not have to decide alone. You can call or email us before you order and ask whether your photo can be restored.
The risk to you is small. You have unlimited free revisions, and your money back if we can't get it right. And there is nothing to mail. When you send a picture taken with your phone, your original stays at home with you. If you would rather mail it in, write to us and we will sort it out with you.
If the photo in your hand is the only one left of someone you love, you now know what it costs to bring it back. The first step is a small one: lay it on a table in good light and take a picture of it with your phone.
